Karl Saliter lives in an old church by the Housatonic River, in Cornwall Bridge, CT, with painter Terri Moore. His sculpture is informed by love of the river.

Karl’s work can be seen in public spaces, galleries, and sculpture gardens worldwide, most notably Pratt Institute Sculpture Garden in New York, and Luna Gallery, in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Of this project: “I’m proud to be working with Saunders Farm. My work is a form of reverence for Nature, and this place feels right to me. ”

Of his work in general: “In the studio, I listen. I’m grateful to explore in three dimensions. I don’t know where sculpture is taking me. This year, I’ve completed a seventeen-ton monolith, and a marble birdhouse, with equal obsession and delight. Sculpture continues to make me curious.”
